Finance Officer
Nottingham
Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated professional to join a Finance team based in Nottingham. The role involves financial reporting, month/year-end accounts, reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, supporting audits, resolving financial queries and supervising a junior team member.. This is a flexible working position with hybrid/remote working avilable, based in Nottingham.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support monthly and annual accounts.
• Prepare financial working papers.
• Complete control account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Support audits and respond to queries.
• Manage and improve finance processes/systems.
• Supervise and support junior finance staff.
  
  

What Experience is Required

• AAT qualified/Level 5 or equivalent experience.
• Good accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with ledgers and reconciliations.
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £39,000 depending on experience

This is a flexible working position with the office based in Nottingham.
